Small in scale but no means insignificant in stature, this little public toilet revamp in a much-venerated heritage-listed building - McDonalds House - on the famed Orchard Road is a testament to all that is understated & timeless in design mannerisms

Respecting the tradition of this historical building that unwittingly played a crucial role during the Indonesian Confrontation that almost brought Singapore and Indonesia to a war, our design aims to reconcile the aesthetics of history with the contemporary glam befitting this pedigreed building; executed with a combination of muted earthy tones with sharp accented lines, and a hint of cultural texture to bring this relatively staid building to the contemporary fore
